Overview
- Support the administration of benefits programs across the Americas, including healthcare, retirement, work-life, and wellness initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Head of Americas Benefits to ensure seamless operations and employee support.
- Work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving responsibilities based on business needs.
- Provide high-quality customer service in responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits and wellness programs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, including 5500 filings, 1095 reporting, and non-discrimination testing.
- Develop and deliver benefits communications, marketing materials, and policy documents to enhance employee understanding.
- Manage vendor relationships and external service providers to optimize benefits delivery.
- Utilize HRIS systems, such as Workday, for benefits maintenance and data management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee day-to-day benefits operations, including vendor management, invoicing, and employee inquiries.
- Support leave of absence and disability/accommodations processes in compliance with laws and policies.
- Collaborate with payroll teams on reimbursements, benefit deductions, and data requests.
- Assist in regulatory compliance tasks, such as state filings and HIPAA adherence.
- Develop and implement benefits marketing and communication strategies.
- Improve processes and influence internal stakeholders to enhance program efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure program alignment and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in U.S. benefits and wellness administration.
- Strong knowledge of benefits plan design, payroll processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, with Workday experience being a plus.
- Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
- Experience in vendor/broker relationship management and external service provider coordination.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling employee information.
