Job Description

Overview

  • Provide temporary FX operations support for a global banking institution with a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Ensure accurate cash position reconciliation and support Front Office liquidity monitoring processes.
  • Perform validation and reconciliation of cash positions, investigating discrepancies and supporting resolution.
  • Review transactions and positions against system records and documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain operational trackers, logs, and records using Excel and internal systems.
  • Support cross-product learning and operations across Forex, Deposits, Securities, and Derivatives.
  • Assist with project-based tasks, including process reviews and control enhancements.
  • Contribute to compliance with internal policies and operational risk controls.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily cash position validation and reconciliation tasks with high accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash positions and transactions.
  • Review and verify transactions against system records and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain detailed trackers, logs, and records using Excel and internal systems.
  • Escalate issues and exceptions to senior team members promptly.
  • Learn and support operations across multiple financial product lines.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization.
  • Support compliance with internal policies, procedures, and risk controls.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in banking operations or a related function.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data tracking and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow directions effectively.
  • Experience with cash position reconciliation and liquidity monitoring is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Forex, Deposits, Securities, and Derivatives operations is advantageous.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with internal policies and risk controls.
