Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Conduct tax research and provide technical advice on tax-related matters.
  • Manage multiple client engagements and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop tax strategies and identify savings opportunities.
  • Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.
  • Stay informed on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist in audit defense and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Contribute to business development activities and organizational growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred with 4-6 years of relevant tax experience.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation and research software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA Checkpoint).
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
