Overview

  • Lead financial operations within a dynamic investment platform, ensuring accurate fund accounting, reporting, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and support strategic investment initiatives.
  • Manage fund accounting processes, including NAV calculations and reconciliations, ensuring precision and timeliness.
  • Provide portfolio analytics and risk management insights, supporting investment decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Oversee compliance and regulatory filings, maintaining adherence to financial regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to investor relations, preparing detailed financial reports and addressing inquiries effectively.
  • Engage in firm-wide operational improvements, driving efficiency and innovation across financial systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage fund accounting processes, including NAV close, reconciliations, and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate annual financial statement preparation and oversee tax return processes.
  • Calculate portfolio exposures, performance attribution, and liquidity metrics for investment analysis.
  • Support compliance programs, ensuring timely regulatory filings and adherence to standards.
  • Prepare financial data for investor relations and marketing materials, addressing inquiries effectively.
  • Collaborate on portfolio modeling and trade execution with research and investment teams.
  • Drive process improvements and manage special projects requiring finance expertise.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in fund accounting or financial operations; 15 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in portfolio analytics, performance attribution, and liquidity management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Technical expertise in fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment operations.
