Overview

  • Lead procurement strategies for a global organization, focusing on vendor lifecycle management and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement operations and compliance.
  • Enhance vendor relationships through strategic sourcing and negotiation expertise.
  • Drive cost optimization and financial oversight for procurement-related expenditures.
  • Develop and refine procurement policies to align with organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership and training to stakeholders on procurement processes and policies.
  • Contribute to the strategic goals of the team through expert procurement management.
  • Support the organization’s growth by managing critical vendor relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for indirect categories, including Technology, Professional Services, and Marketing.
  • Lead vendor lifecycle processes, including RFx, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, including Master Agreements and Statements of Work.
  • Oversee vendor payment processes, ensuring accuracy and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Design and implement procurement policies to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other units to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on procurement adherence.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and financial improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in FinTech or High-Growth Tech.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for spend analysis.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills for vendor management.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in cost tracking and budget management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPSM or MCIPS are preferred.
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts with major technology providers.
  • Familiarity with blockchain-specific vendors or decentralized infrastructure providers is a plus.
