Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to a leading organization specializing in diversified net lease real estate operations.
  • Perform complex accounting tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Engage in property accounting, lease administration, and financial statement analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Utilize your expertise in general ledger analysis and reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audits with detailed schedules and responses.
  • Contribute to fund-level reporting for quarter-end and year-end processes.
  • Leverage advanced accounting systems knowledge for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyze third-party financial statements and reconcile with company records.
  • Perform monthly accounting close and record accruals accurately.
  • Prepare and review state sales tax returns and reconciliations.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and complex journal entries.
  • Assist in annual property budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with asset managers and third-party financial providers.
  • Ensure compliance with debt covenants and resolve payment disputes.
  • Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger and depreciation schedules.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in general ledger analysis and journal entry booking.
  • Experience with property accounting and lease administration preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of JDE accounting systems is a plus.
