Overview

  • Play a pivotal role in the tax operations of a leading financial services firm, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and accuracy.
  • Conduct in-depth research on tax issues, offering strategic recommendations for planning purposes.
  • Manage tax audits, coordinating documentation and responses to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related inquiries and provide expert guidance.
  • Monitor and assess changes in tax regulations, ensuring organizational compliance and readiness.
  • Implement tax-efficient strategies to optimize financial outcomes and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all tax-related activities and documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate tax, with a preference for 5 years.
  • Proficiency in corporate tax regulations, compliance requirements, and tax software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex tax scenarios.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
  • Preferred experience within a Big 4 or national firm environment.
