Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise daily operations of diagnostic imaging services, ensuring efficient workflow and quality outcomes.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to meet patient imaging needs effectively.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance and safety standards.
- Train and evaluate imaging staff, addressing performance and development needs.
- Manage inventory and maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Analyze departmental performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
- Facilitate communication between departments to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for imaging services.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registered Technologist (RT) by ARRT, CNMT by NMTCB, or RDMS by ARDMS.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging; 4 years preferred.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC, valid for at least 60 days post-hire.
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment maintenance and operational protocols.
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance and safety standards for imaging services.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement service improvements.
