Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to strategic planning.
- Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to the board of directors.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Lead revenue cycle management to maximize reimbursement and efficiency.
- Develop financial models and tools to support decision-making and growth.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Provide leadership to finance teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Monitor payer reimbursement structures and respond to contract changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- MBA, MPA, or Master’s degree in Finance or related field preferred.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive senior financial leadership experience.
- Expertise in nonprofit accounting, fund accounting, and grant compliance.
- Proven experience with revenue cycle management and payer reimbursement systems.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare finance and regulatory requirements.
