Job Description

Overview

  • Lead strategic human resources initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and foster a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
  • Oversee HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance with employment regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the client’s mission and long-term goals.
  • Serve as a key advisor to leadership, providing insights on workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Promote equity and inclusion through innovative recruitment and retention practices.
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of personnel records and HR systems.
  • Supervise and mentor HR team members, fostering professional growth and departmental success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership for HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
  • Oversee employee relations strategies, addressing conflicts and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Enhance performance management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to cultivate an inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Manage recruitment processes to attract top talent and ensure equitable hiring practices.
  • Advise on compliance with employment laws, mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Direct onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions for employees.
  • Supervise HR systems and personnel records, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in HR management, including supervisory roles.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including ADA, Title IX, and FMLA.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Professional HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are advantageous.
  • Experience in Title IX coordination or related compliance roles is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across all organizational levels.
