Job Description

Overview

  • Provide comprehensive support in a clinical setting, assisting with patient care and administrative tasks.
  • Perform vital sign measurements, medical history updates, and patient rooming.
  • Administer injections, draw blood, and handle sample collection processes.
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate data entry and patient documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in interactions with patients and staff.
  • Work in a dynamic environment with flexible hours ranging from 7am to 5:30pm.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs to support clinical assessments.
  • Update patient medical histories and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Administer injections and perform blood draws following established protocols.
  • Enter patient data into EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Support healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care.
  • Adapt to varying schedules and tasks as required by clinic operations.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, bubbly personality.
  • Experience with patient rooming, vital sign measurement, and blood drawing.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours between 7am and 5:30pm.
