Overview

  • Provide essential support in a healthcare environment, assisting patients and medical staff with daily operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Room patients and obtain accurate vitals during appointments.
  • Administer injections and assist with blood draws as required.
  • Update and maintain patient medical histories in the EMR system.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Adhere to healthcare protocols and standards for patient care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  • Support administrative tasks and maintain organized records.
  • Ensure proficiency in EMR processes to streamline workflows.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
  • Experience with rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and drawing blood.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
  • Ability to work on-site in a healthcare environment.
