Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Room patients and obtain their medical vitals and history.
- Administer injections and draw blood as required.
- Update and maintain patient records in the EMR system.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and patient areas.
- Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal communication with patients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate of Arts (AA) preferred.
- Medical Assistant diploma with at least 1 year of experience; 2 years preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly eClinicalWorks.
- Experience in rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and drawing blood.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, bubbly personality.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts between 7am and 5:30pm.
- Knowledge of OBGYN practices is highly valued.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
