Overview

• Lead multifamily construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Oversee a $50MM mill conversion project, transforming a textile mill into apartments and retail spaces.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project success and satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop younger team members, fostering growth and professional development.
• Manage logistics, scheduling, and communication for complex construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including asbestos abatement protocols.
• Utilize expertise in wood framing and large-scale project management.
• Work on-site in Augusta, contributing to multifamily construction projects over the next 4-5 years.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Implement safety protocols and oversee asbestos abatement procedures.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Manage logistics for multifamily construction projects, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in preconstruction planning and project development activities.

Job Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent education in construction management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily construction; 7 years preferred.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale projects, including wood framing and logistics.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing team members.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and asbestos abatement procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in Augusta for extended project durations.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules for multifamily construction projects.
