Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with investment, reporting, and technology teams to enhance performance reporting and strategic analytics processes.
  • Drive standardization and scalability of reporting processes across various credit strategies.
  • Lead complex, long-term projects focused on process automation and evolving requirements.
  • Provide analytical support to senior management for informed business decisions.
  • Design and implement scalable data/reporting infrastructure in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Respond to portfolio manager and investor data needs with timely, high-quality analysis.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment promoting teamwork and individual responsibility.
  • Contribute to a culture of learning and adaptability within an open communication layout.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead strategic reporting initiatives to enhance data quality and governance practices.
  • Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries for financial data analysis.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement scalable reporting solutions using Python, Power BI, and Databricks.
  • Leverage LLMs to automate routine data tasks and synthesize market data insights.
  • Translate quantitative findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio managers with macro market data analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure documentation and validation of data processes align with best practices.
  • Foster cross-training and open communication within a collaborative team environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with 4–6 years of experience in financial data/analytics roles.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with additional experience in Python, Power BI, and Databricks preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate with technical teams.
  • Experience with large-scale financial datasets and translating findings for stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data quality validation, governance, and documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with Prompt Engineering and leveraging LLMs for data task automation.
  • CFA certification or willingness to pursue CFA is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
