Overview

  • Lead the strategic direction and operational management of a behavioral health hospital.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve financial and operational goals.

  • Collaborate with medical staff and community stakeholders to enhance services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with hospital objectives.
  • Manage daily operations to ensure effective patient care and fiscal performance.
  • Maintain compliance with licensure, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee payer relationships for revenue growth.
  • Recruit and retain qualified healthcare professionals to expand service offerings.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community and government agencies.
  • Ensure readiness for regulatory surveys and continuous accreditation compliance.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the hospital's executive management team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field; MBA/MHA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in senior leadership within healthcare.
  • Proven track record in behavioral health hospital management and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management and business development processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience with JACHO survey readiness and accreditation processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
