Overview

  • Drive mechanical engineering excellence in pharmaceutical and life sciences projects, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices to achieve project objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering professional growth and maintaining high-quality design standards.
  • Engage in client-facing activities to understand needs and deliver tailored engineering solutions.

  • Utilize technical expertise to lead mechanical design direction and ensure project success.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with minimal travel, focusing on impactful local and regional projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct quality control reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure design excellence.
  • Mentor and oversee junior engineers, fostering skill development and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise and resources for successful project delivery.
  • Interface directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Participate in industry events and presentations to represent the organization and contribute to thought leadership.
  • Assist in business development activities, identifying opportunities and expanding project scope.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
  • 10–15 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in GMP/pharmaceutical environments.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in leading design efforts and providing technical direction for complex projects.
  • Strong experience in mentoring and managing engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in Revit software is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent client interfacing skills and ability to contribute to business development activities.
  • Availability for minimal travel and capability to work in a hybrid environment.
