Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
- Operate and maintain GE and Siemens CT equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to enhance imaging services.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and trainees as needed.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in radiology preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in operating GE and Siemens CT equipment.
- Strong knowledge of radiology protocols and healthcare regulations.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules, including occasional weekends.
