Overview

  • Lead tax compliance and review processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and delivering high-quality service to clients.

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation for diverse client portfolios.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients and staff.

  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives to improve processes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of tax compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff, enhancing their technical skills and professional development.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies for clients, addressing their unique financial needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide tailored tax solutions.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise clients on potential impacts and opportunities.
  • Assist in business development efforts by identifying new client opportunities and expanding existing relationships.
  • Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring compliance and accuracy across all submissions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting, with preference for 10 years.
  • Proven leadership skills, including mentoring and training staff in a professional setting.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
