Overview

  • Lead business development efforts for Real-World Evidence (RWE) services in a dynamic, remote role.
  • Cultivate relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical decision-makers to identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic RWE sales initiatives to drive growth and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with proposal teams to create compelling budgets and project scopes.
  • Participate in industry conferences, presenting capabilities and networking with potential clients.
  • Manage CRM systems to maintain accurate sales pipeline and account activity records.
  • Engage in bid defense meetings, leading preparation and follow-up efforts.
  • Work closely with operational management to ensure client needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Identify and initiate discussions with clients regarding RWE services and growth areas.
  • Develop effective sales strategies tailored to client needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with proposal teams to deliver accurate budgets and project scopes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Lead capabilities presentations and bid defense meetings to secure client projects.
  • Monitor and update sales pipeline, ensuring consistent communication with sales leaders.
  • Attend conferences to represent the organization and network with industry professionals.
  • Provide strategic direction for proposal text and budget scope development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or life sciences required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in RWE consultative selling and account management.
  • Strong knowledge of RWE offerings and ability to engage in strategic discussions.
  • Experience in clinical research, CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries preferred.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage CRM systems and maintain accurate sales metrics.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and client meetings as required.
