Job Description

Overview

  • Manage fund accounting, NAV reporting, and investor allocations for private investment funds and SPVs.
  • Collaborate with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers for financial reporting.
  • Analyze investment activity, portfolio valuations, and fund performance metrics.
  • Assist with process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal controls enhancement.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Support investor reporting and respond to LP requests efficiently.
  • Partner with investment, operations, and compliance teams on ad hoc projects and fund launches.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee capital calls, distributions, management fees, and waterfall calculations.
  • Coordinate with external parties to ensure accurate fund operations and reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Enhance internal controls and streamline accounting processes.
  • Analyze fund performance and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Support automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate on new fund launches and special projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–8+ years of experience in fund accounting or private equity environments.
  • Strong understanding of partnership accounting and private fund structures.
  • Proficiency in systems like Allvue, Investran, Geneva, or similar platforms.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with capital activity, allocations, and financial reporting for investment funds.
