Job Description

Overview

  • Support procurement activities for the client, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and develop strategies.
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement department, including scheduling and correspondence.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while managing supplier relationships.
  • Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate procurement processes, including requisition review and supplier evaluation.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and track their progress.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Assist in resolving procurement-related issues and disputes.
  • Support the preparation of procurement reports and presentations for management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on procurement procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or related roles.
  • Preferred 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
