Overview

  • Provide leadership to ensure efficient, patient-centered care delivery across telemetry units, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Maintain a visible presence to support nursing staff and operational excellence during all shifts, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align practices with organizational priorities and improve patient outcomes.
  • Promote professional development and shared governance among nursing staff, encouraging growth and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety protocols, driving adherence to best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance care quality, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Facilitate effective staffing and throughput to optimize patient care delivery and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, with eligibility for practice.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of acute care clinical experience, preferably in telemetry or similar units.
  • Prior experience in charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership roles strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and operational leadership skills essential.
  • National Certification in Nursing Leadership or clinical specialty preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site with alternating weekends and holidays as required.
