Registered Nurse – Assistant Manager

Overview

• Provide leadership to ensure efficient, patient-centered care delivery across telemetry units, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead clinical operations to ensure high-quality patient care and safety across telemetry units.
• Monitor care processes to maintain regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive performance improvements and achieve organizational goals.
• Mentor nursing staff to foster professional growth, accountability, and leadership development.
• Manage staffing and throughput to optimize care delivery and ensure resource availability.
• Participate in quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, operational processes, and care standards.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, standards, and organizational policies.
• Support readiness and effectiveness of care processes through proactive leadership and problem-solving.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, with eligibility for practice.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of acute care clinical experience, preferably in telemetry or similar units.
• Prior experience in charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership roles strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and operational leadership skills essential.
• National Certification in Nursing Leadership or clinical specialty preferred.
• Ability to work on-site with alternating weekends and holidays as required.
