Overview
- Lead dermatology services within a multi-clinic family practice network, ensuring high-quality care and clinical excellence.
- Combine clinical dermatology expertise with leadership responsibilities to drive program development and provider education.
- Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments across multiple clinic locations.
- Shape and expand dermatology programs, establishing clinical standards and evidence-based care protocols.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to improve patient access and care delivery efficiency.
- Mentor and support dermatology providers and advanced practice clinicians within the organization.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development efforts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for diverse patient populations.
- Perform in-office dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.
- Develop and maintain dermatology protocols, workflows, and standards of care.
- Serve as the clinical lead for dermatology services across the network.
- Provide guidance and consultation to primary care providers on dermatologic conditions.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of dermatology providers and clinicians.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve workflow efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development efforts.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and Board Certification in Dermatology required.
- Active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical dermatology experience; 5+ years preferred.
- Prior leadership or Medical Director experience strongly preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care and evidence-based practices.
- Ability to mentor and support providers and clinicians effectively.
- Experience in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
