Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operations for a dynamic team, ensuring seamless client servicing and operational support for financial services.
  • Drive process improvements leveraging AI tools to enhance workflows and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver superior client experiences and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Oversee trading activities across various account types, ensuring compliance with fund requirements.
  • Manage external transfer agency providers, ensuring adherence to KPIs and operational standards.
  • Provide support for intermediary sales teams and assist with board reporting obligations.
  • Monitor cash flows impacting investor concentration and manage industry reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate operational risk assessments and health checks for third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage day-to-day client interactions, including account transfers and eligibility requirements.
  • Draft and coordinate client communications, ensuring clarity and compliance.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal groups to resolve client requests efficiently.
  • Ensure proper adherence to fund prospectus requirements and SAIM regulations.
  • Conduct operational visits and manage risk assessments of external vendors.
  • Leverage AI tools to automate workflows and improve reporting processes.
  • Support product management in fund modifications and new fund launches.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience managing teams and supporting 40 Act Funds operationally.
  • Series 7 and Series 24 certifications are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of DTCC/NSCC mutual fund processing is essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience handling large datasets.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation and data insights.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
