Overview
- Provide medical support to healthcare providers and assist in clinical activities under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
- Ensure exam rooms are prepared, cleaned, and restocked for patient encounters and maintain equipment and supplies.
- Support patient care activities, including obtaining vital signs and documenting them in the electronic medical record system.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed and adhere to universal precautions in all clinical tasks.
- Organize and prepare patient summary sheets and charts for daily clinic operations.
- Assist patients in navigating the clinic, including calling them from the lobby into exam rooms.
- Collaborate with medical providers and staff to ensure efficient clinic workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional and supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Organize and prepare patient charts and summary sheets for daily clinic operations.
- Prepare, clean, and restock exam rooms to ensure readiness for patient encounters.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs and chief complaints in the electronic medical record system.
- Assist medical providers with patient care activities under supervision.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and adhere to universal precautions in all clinical tasks.

Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience preferred; 2 years ideal.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, particularly Eclinical Works.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Bilingual candidates preferred to enhance patient communication.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays.
- Excellent communication skills and a stable work history.
