Overview

  • Manage accounts payable processes in a dynamic environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Handle vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and resolve discrepancies efficiently and professionally.
  • Utilize advanced accounting software for invoice matching, electronic filing, and record maintenance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices with precision and timeliness.
  • Match invoices with subcontracts using specialized accounting software.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Communicate professionally with vendors to resolve billing inquiries.
  • Assist in preparing tax reports and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
  • Support the accounting team with additional tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Contribute to maintaining efficient workflow by processing invoices monthly.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of accounts payable experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Experience in the construction industry and familiarity with accounting software highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong numerical skills essential.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals and objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
  • Knowledge of tax reporting processes preferred but not mandatory.
