Overview
- Contribute to the success of a dynamic e-commerce team as a Footwear Planner.
- Analyze sales, inventory, and forecasts to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to develop seasonal and in-season buying strategies.
- Manage demand forecasting, replenishment programs, and inventory across multiple channels.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, reforecasting in-season as necessary.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Partner with merchandising to develop seasonal and in-season buys supporting product strategies and achieving sales goals.
- Translate merchandising strategies into cohesive buys, considering promotional cadence and seasonality.
- Monitor inbound inventory and delivery dates, ensuring timely execution of purchase orders.
- Analyze sales data, tracking demand and sell-throughs against projections, and preparing high-level recaps.
- Execute markdowns and promotions to support sell-through strategies effectively.
- Analyze margins by SKU, considering return rates, marketing spend, and fulfillment fees.
- Prepare and maintain annual and quarterly budgets, adjusting forecasts as needed.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless operations and project management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts or related field required.
- 5+ years of planning experience, preferably in wholesale, retail, or e-commerce.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, for data analysis.
- Comprehensive knowledge of planning, retail math, and forecasting techniques.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective project management.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and collaborative with a passion for footwear planning.
