Job Description

Overview

  • Lead commercial operations for strategic accounts, ensuring seamless execution and growth alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, marketing, and merchandising teams to drive business priorities.
  • Manage relationships with key accounts, including Amazon and Zappos, to achieve sales and margin goals.
  • Identify emerging trends and whitespace opportunities to develop growth initiatives.
  • Oversee promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure timely solutions across teams.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with in-office presence four days a week.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the primary external representative for strategic accounts, leading negotiations and growth plans.
  • Present seasonal strategies and product launches to key account teams.
  • Drive seasonal buys, markdown strategies, and promotional initiatives to meet business goals.
  • Monitor business performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on inventory flow and promotional support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to orders, promotions, and operational execution.
  • Analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights and reporting.
  • Ensure alignment and accountability across teams for timely execution of initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree required, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in account management or related roles; 8 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in Amazon 1P business model and vendor negotiations.
  • Experience in footwear or apparel industries strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive execution in a high-accountability environment.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence required four days a week.
