Job Description

Overview

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring smooth operations and tenant satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to oversee maintenance and safety compliance.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for assigned properties, ensuring financial accuracy.
  • Coordinate lease and contract administration, addressing tenant concerns proactively.
  • Travel between properties as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment emphasizing culture fit and reliability.
  • Utilize Excel for lease analysis and financial modeling tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with life safety testing and repairs across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day property management operations, including tenant relations and issue resolution.
  • Manage contractor and vendor work to ensure quality and timely completion.
  • Prepare and review annual budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Coordinate life safety testing and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze lease terms and assist owners with acquisition modeling and analysis.
  • Attend management meetings to review financial statements and operational updates.
  • Proactively meet with tenants to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Review and approve invoices for assigned projects and reconcile tenant operating expenses.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial property management or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and lease modeling.
  • Strong understanding of lease terms, including NNN and full-service leases.
  • Excellent communication skills for tenant, vendor, and team interactions.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between assigned properties, with mileage reimbursement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment.
