Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in the daily operations of office pantries and staff dining areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficient service.
  • Support food preparation and delivery, including cutting fruits, stocking soups, and organizing pantry items.
  • Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels across multiple locations.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as wiping surfaces, washing equipment, and maintaining coffee machines.
  • Coordinate food deliveries, sort and label items, and resolve delivery issues effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff and vendors, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the hospitality team to support events and meetings with food and beverage arrangements.
  • Utilize software tools for data entry, expense reporting, and creating presentations for internal use.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pantries and dining areas, ensuring a hygienic environment.
  • Prepare and stock food items, including fruits, vegetables, and packaged goods, for daily service.
  • Load and unload dishwashers, and manually wash equipment as needed.
  • Monitor and replenish pantry supplies, including snacks, beverages, and cleaning materials.
  • Coordinate food deliveries, label items, and address delivery discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, expense reporting, and creating signage.
  • Support event setups by delivering food and beverages to designated locations.
  • Collaborate with facilities teams to address repair and cleaning needs effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, with relevant experience in hospitality or catering preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Word, and Excel for administrative tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical ability to transport supplies weighing up to 30 pounds and move between locations.
  • Comfortable with standing and being on feet for extended periods during shifts.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and systems for operational efficiency.
