Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality accounting and tax services.
  • Prepare and review diverse tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, corporate, partnership, and multistate tax returns.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and forecasts to identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with partners and managers on strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and oversight to junior accountants.
  • Utilize accounting software and tools for efficient workflow management.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
  • CPA certification or candidacy is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a CPA firm, preferably 5 years.
  • Proficiency in UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Intuit products is preferred.
