Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient care for patients with complex musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions.
  • Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits, ensuring efficient and thorough care delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient treatment plans.
  • Utilize electronic medical records for accurate documentation and patient management.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for infusion-based therapies, ensuring safe and effective administration.
  • Engage in professional development activities to stay updated on advancements in Rheumatology care.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations, upholding high standards of care.
  • Participate in referral reviews and triage processes to enhance patient access and care coordination.

Job Requirements

  • Master of Science degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies is required.
  • Active NP or PA licensure in Oregon or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Preferred experience in Rheumatology or related specialty practice areas.
  • Proficiency in managing musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions in an outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with infusion-based biologics and immunosuppressive therapies is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient-centered care.
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems; knowledge of iKnowMed is a plus.
