Job Description

Overview

  • Lead innovative dermatology-focused clinical research studies, driving advancements in skin health and treatment methodologies.
  • Serve as the primary medical authority, ensuring participant safety and study integrity at the site level.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, clinical teams, and research participants to achieve study objectives effectively.
  • Provide expert clinical interpretation of subject data, lab results, and biopsy reports to inform study outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide Sub-Investigators and clinical research team members to foster professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GCP standards, and ethical guidelines in all study operations.
  • Participate in the recruitment and screening of study subjects to meet enrollment targets.
  • Offer flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules based on study requirements and investigator availability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the conduct of dermatology research studies, ensuring adherence to protocols and participant safety.
  • Conduct or supervise study procedures, ensuring staff qualifications and ongoing training.
  • Review and interpret clinical data, lab results, and imaging reports to support study findings.
  • Collaborate with study monitors and assist in preparing regulatory submissions and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of research data, ensuring compliance with ethical standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical research team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Participate in recruitment and screening processes to ensure the selection of suitable study subjects.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GCP standards, and ethical guidelines throughout study operations.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) with specialization in Dermatology, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience; clinical research experience is advantageous.
  • Current physician license in the relevant state of practice.
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail in data interpretation and study oversight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research software applications for efficient documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving study needs and challenges.
