Overview

  • Lead clinical operations at a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center, ensuring efficient patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise nursing personnel and clinical teams to promote safe, high-quality patient care within perioperative services.
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and leadership to support positive surgical outcomes.
  • Oversee infection prevention initiatives, risk management activities, and facility safety programs.
  • Act as a communication liaison between clinical departments and executive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory survey processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance staff performance and patient flow efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct and supervise nursing personnel and clinical support teams across the facility.
  • Promote the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to support patient safety.
  • Oversee infection prevention initiatives and risk management activities.

Job Requirements

  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in operating room settings; three years preferred.
  • Previous leadership or management experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulatory survey processes strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor staff effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in infection prevention and risk management practices.
