Job Description

Overview

  • Lead regulatory reporting processes, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and accuracy in financial data representation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting procedures and streamline operations.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention in reporting tasks.
  • Prepare detailed variance analyses and validate transaction changes to ensure data integrity.
  • Support compliance efforts by partnering with external entities and internal departments.
  • Contribute to quarterly meetings by providing insightful analysis and documentation.
  • Adapt to dynamic business needs and take on additional responsibilities as required.
  • Serve as a backup for various operational tasks, including accounting and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and verify regulatory reports such as FR 2420, FR 2900, and FFIEC 002.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement automation projects and enhance reporting tools.
  • Analyze reporting instructions and conduct variance analyses to ensure compliance.
  • Validate transaction changes, ensuring accuracy in regulatory submissions.
  • Partner with external entities to maintain compliance and correctness in reporting.
  • Assist in compliance procedures and support departments in reporting enhancements.
  • Document and analyze outcomes from quarterly meetings to inform strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to special projects and additional tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office products.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Versatility to work independently or collaboratively on multiple projects.
  • Flexibility to work beyond regular office hours as needed.
