Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to financial planning and analysis processes, supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.
  • Assist in month-end close, forecasting, and annual budget preparation activities.
  • Provide actionable insights through variance analysis and financial modeling.
  • Support the development and maintenance of cost accounting structures and inventory management.
  • Engage with senior leadership and functional leaders to drive profitability and growth.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and audit processes to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Participate in special projects and generate ad hoc reports as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure financial data consistency across reporting systems and platforms.
  • Prepare monthly variance analyses and provide explanations to guide business decisions.
  • Upload and verify financial data accuracy in Hyperion and other systems.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to monitor spending and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate month-end close processes and create financial models for decision-making.
  • Analyze quarterly reserves and maintain cost pools and allocations for business units.
  • Determine standard costs for materials and oversee inventory revaluation processes.
  • Manage consignment inventory and support strategic planning initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as Hyperion and Made-to-Manage (M2M).
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in variance analysis and financial modeling.
  • Experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing ambiguity.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial insights and recommendations.
