Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with the CLO Operations team to ensure accurate data reporting to stakeholders, including portfolio managers and investors.
  • Manage corporate action activities and oversee trade and security entries in portfolio management systems.
  • Support trade processing from initiation to settlement for syndicated bank loans.
  • Coordinate with custodians and brokers to ensure proper trading activity and documentation compliance.
  • Handle CLO warehouse fund finance and cash management processes efficiently.
  • Assist with audit queries, including internal audits, external CLO audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Engage in special projects and maintain strong relationships with corporate service providers and administrators.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process corporate actions on portfolio positions and ensure data accuracy in systems.
  • Manage trade support processes, including settlement activities for syndicated loans.
  • Coordinate with custodians and brokers on trading activities and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee CLO warehouse fund finance operations and cash management tasks.
  • Prepare and review loan closing packages and credit agreements documentation.
  • Assist in audit processes, including internal, external, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Resolve booking and position discrepancies through daily interactions with internal and external teams.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and build relationships with service providers and trustees.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in alternative asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income products, bank loans, and CLO operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and portfolio management systems is essential.
  • Experience with loan closing documentation and settlement processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with systems like IVP, VPM, and Bloomberg is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for success.
