Job Description

Overview

  • Support construction project management from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project goals.
  • Assist in procurement processes for subcontractors and materials, ensuring cost-effective and timely selections.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities to align with project schedules and objectives, maintaining seamless operations.
  • Process and review project documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and accuracy of information.
  • Collaborate with project teams to achieve milestones and address challenges effectively.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in project meetings, contributing insights and updates on assigned tasks.
  • Promote adherence to safety protocols and regulations throughout all project phases.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of project schedules and timelines for successful execution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in managing project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively to meet objectives.
  • Coordinate subcontractor trades to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned tasks.
  • Process and review submittals for compliance and project progress tracking.
  • Support procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of resources.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager and stakeholders.
  • Assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts promptly to maintain workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and secure documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in project meetings, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management; 4 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools is essential for effective operations.
  • Strong knowledge of subcontractor procurement and coordination processes is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary for successful collaboration.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout projects.
