Job Description
Overview
- Manage sales activities within the assigned territory, focusing on rental and service business development.
- Promote rental equipment and on-site services to target markets, including Oil, Gas, and Chemical segments.
- Develop profitable sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goals and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team and service organization to ensure seamless operations.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to enhance knowledge and promote products and services.
- Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate records and facilitate effective customer management.
- Leverage industry relationships to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Provide competitive analysis and prepare quotes to support customer acquisition efforts.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Generate and develop rental business by identifying potential customers and conducting site visits.
- Promote and offer service solutions in collaboration with authorized rental partners.
- Ensure compliance with sales policies and monitor activities to achieve budgetary goals.
- Support sales teams in identifying leads for daily rental and on-site project opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
- Maintain CRM database integrity and provide accurate territory reporting.
- Prepare competitive feature, benefit, and price analysis for customer quotes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in outside sales of technical products and solutions.
- Proficiency in competitive analysis, quote preparation, and customer engagement.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes for turnaround projects, preferred.
- Strong relationships within the safety industry, preferred.
- Experience with CRM tools for customer management and reporting.
- Access to company vehicle, gas card, and credit card for expenses.
