Job Description

Overview

  • Manage and optimize operational processes for CLOs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in securitization and warehouse lending activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to streamline workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic guidance during CLO ramp-up phases, contributing to successful deal execution and operational excellence.
  • Oversee asset and cash reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and adherence to industry standards.
  • Review trustee reports and compliance documents to support accurate and reliable CLO management practices.
  • Engage in cross-functional initiatives to support the growth and expansion of the CLO business.
  • Participate in industry events to stay informed of trends and contribute to operational improvements.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in CLO operations by implementing best practices and technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead operational management for CLOs, including warehouse ramp-up and securitization phases, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between portfolio managers, risk teams, and external service providers to resolve operational inquiries.
  • Provide operational oversight and guidance during CLO deal structuring and execution phases.
  • Coordinate warehouse facilities and manage CLO deal closings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Review compliance models and analyses to ensure adherence to CLO indenture requirements.
  • Assist portfolio managers with trading analyses and asset allocation adjustments.
  • Monitor daily reconciliations and compliance reporting to maintain operational accuracy.
  • Participate in strategic projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • 5-8 years of experience in CLO operations, including warehouse and securitization phases.
  • Proficiency in CLO systems such as WSO Compliance, Sentry, Solvas, Allvue, and Moody’s Analytics.
  • Knowledge of syndicated bank loans, risk retention compliance, and CLO indentures.
  • Strong communication skills for client meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience managing outsourced providers and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg; familiarity with SQL and database tools is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive operational improvements.
