Overview

  • Lead transformative data strategy initiatives within a dynamic consulting firm specializing in alternative investments and private markets.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and operating models.
  • Drive innovation in private markets data domains, including investment lifecycle, performance metrics, and valuation methodologies.
  • Develop scalable, modern data capabilities aligned with business priorities and technology advancements.
  • Mentor and guide consulting teams, ensuring delivery quality and consistency across projects.
  • Engage in executive-level interactions to align strategies and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of a fast-paced, innovative consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the engagement lead, managing multi-workstream delivery and acting as the primary contact for senior client stakeholders.
  • Develop cohesive strategies encompassing governance, operating models, and conceptual architecture guidance.
  • Lead workshops, alignment sessions, and executive-level interactions to ensure project success.
  • Direct teams on methodology, analysis, and deliverable structure to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Validate findings and synthesize insights to translate complex issues into actionable recommendations.
  • Guide target-state operating model development, aligning roles, workflows, and architecture.
  • Manage risks, scope, escalations, and mentor team members for future-phase strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with 9–12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in consulting, data strategy, private markets, and large-scale transformation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data strategy, governance, domain modeling, and architecture alignment.
  • Advanced understanding of private markets operations and investment lifecycle data flows.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud-native data platforms to guide architectural direction.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching consulting teams and ensuring delivery quality.
  • Excellent executive communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on enterprise value.
