Job Description

Overview

  • Lead client relationships, providing expert guidance on fund accounting principles and processes to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage and mentor teams, fostering collaboration and driving operational improvements for client satisfaction and departmental growth.
  • Oversee audits, tax filings, NAV reporting, and fee calculations to maintain compliance and financial accuracy.
  • Handle onboarding, cash management, budgeting, and advisory services to align with client expectations and support growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to department leadership, supervising direct reports and actively participating in meetings and training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance processes, ensuring sustainability and agility in a dynamic global landscape.
  • Utilize advanced fund accounting expertise to deliver high-quality services to alternative investment clients.
  • Support the organization's commitment to ESG and diversity through active participation in related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with CPA certification preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in alternative investment management, including hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital.
  • Proficiency in fund accounting, financial reporting, and compliance processes.
  • Strong management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple client engagements.
  • Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify, NetSuite, and Sage.
  • Commitment to sustainability and diversity, contributing to organizational initiatives and goals.
  • Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Experience in mentoring teams and driving collaboration for departmental success.
