Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Utilize methodologies such as DCF and comparable transactions for security valuations and portfolio assessments.
  • Prepare performance analyses and presentations to inform senior management and support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure clarity and precision in valuation data, effectively communicating results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address valuation inquiries and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor financial performance and industry dynamics to inform investment strategies and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate valuation activities and materials for stakeholders, highlighting trends impacting portfolio performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in valuation-related work; 10 years preferred for advanced roles.
  • Proficiency in valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company, and precedent transactions is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of ASC 820 and valuation guidance, with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Effective project management skills and awareness of internal business controls to drive successful outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and professional presentations.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
  • Preferred certifications include CFA or CPA, enhancing expertise in valuation and portfolio analysis.
