Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations, budgeting, and reporting for a dynamic organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all entities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and drive operational efficiency through insightful financial analysis.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive financial models, projections, and scenario analyses to support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare detailed board packages, including financial statements, performance metrics, and variance analyses.
  • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support business development efforts by preparing financial analyses and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and lead finance staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the annual budget preparation process, including development, coordination, and presentation of operating budgets.
  • Perform operational financial analysis to evaluate productivity, profitability, and overall efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership and board presentations.
  • Manage month-end financial close responsibilities, ensuring accurate revenue accrual calculations and journal entries.
  • Support client relations and business development teams with financial reconciliations and RFP responses.
  • Develop pricing analyses, financial projections, and pro formas for new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably within healthcare or multi-entity organizations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of month-end close processes and revenue accrual accounting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare, professional services, or multi-entity environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
