Job Description

Overview

  • Manage diverse construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and teams to align project goals and foster strong professional relationships.
  • Oversee project financials, schedules, and risk management to optimize performance and outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced project management tools to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and procurement processes effectively.
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure alignment on schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications promptly.
  • Track project costs and proactively address risks and potential issues to maintain progress.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide comprehensive updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Foster strong client relationships and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management; 8 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage ground-up and renovation projects effectively.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and financial management.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore or similar tools.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
