Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts for month-end/year-end close.
- Analyze invoices and billing data to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Perform detailed reconciliations for corporate credit cards and vendor accounts.
- Develop Excel-based reports to analyze financial data and support reporting processes.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and research cash application transactions.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams for accurate reporting.
- Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on accounting procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 5-8 years of corporate accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as NetSuite preferred.
- CPA Candidate or CPA Eligible highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with BILL software is a plus.
- Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis and support strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
