Overview

  • Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments, maintaining a clean and safe workspace for optimal efficiency.
  • Assist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and procedural success.
  • Capture and process high-quality dental radiographs, including X-rays and CBCT scans, adhering to best practices.
  • Accurately update and manage patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team to enhance daily workflows and patient satisfaction.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
  • Contribute to a dynamic clinical environment by supporting general dentistry and oral surgery procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient satisfaction and procedural efficiency.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Capture and process dental radiographs, including Panorex and CBCT scans, with precision.
  • Manage patient records with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide empathetic support to patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize clinical workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in dental assisting are preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience assisting in general dentistry procedures.
  • Proficiency in taking and processing dental radiographs, including advanced imaging techniques.
  • Professional demeanor with punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enhance patient interactions and team collaboration.
  • Own transportation required for potential travel between clinical locations.
  • Willingness to work Saturdays and adapt to flexible scheduling needs.
