Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan and execute development strategies for identified power generation projects, ensuring compliance with company objectives.
- Negotiate development agreements and manage permitting processes to facilitate project execution.
- Develop local community support and manage relationships with stakeholders and consultants.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of project elements.
- Conduct financial analyses, including pro forma modeling and NPV/IRR calculations, to support project viability.
- Provide detailed reports to management on project progress, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and company policies throughout project development.
- Travel as necessary to oversee project activities and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business management.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience for Manager level; 12 years preferred for Director level.
- Proven track record in energy project development, including permitting and lifecycle management.
- Strong financial skills, including pro forma modeling and profitability analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40% for project-related activities.
- Knowledge of US power markets, ISOs, and energy development incentives.
