Overview

  • Provide comprehensive patient care in a remote setting, ensuring high-quality nursing services and promoting health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Perform patient assessments, diagnose health conditions, and administer appropriate treatments and interventions.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on nursing practices and technologies.
  • Ensure patient safety and confidentiality in all aspects of care delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct patient triage and assessments, identifying urgent health issues and prioritizing care needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients, addressing concerns and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Document patient interactions and care activities accurately in electronic health records.
  • Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and ensure availability for patient care activities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines in all clinical practices.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Nursing or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory or emergency settings.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and certifications including BCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse.
  • Proficiency in clinical procedures such as venipuncture and medication administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to utilize electronic health records and basic computer applications effectively.
  • Commitment to professional development and adherence to healthcare standards and policies.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
